18th Century : Hollow domed hand made plain nail with very long soldered strong steel shaft.

Height of dome 5mm. (3/16")
Length of steel tang 50mm. (1 15/16")

Originally goes with cabinet hinge Ref. 05149, hence strong 2.5mm diam. shaft.
